Capital Market Day – a unique event for companies and individual investors

Capital Market Day is a unique in Europe joint action of InnerValue and the Individual Investors Association . In one day, investors can refer to the three stock exchange companies.

The first edition of CMD took place in October 2012. It was attended by ABC Data, Midas and CD Projekt. However, in the second edition - in September 2013 - Neuca, Ambra and Enel-Med. The Warsaw Stock Exchange was a strategic partner of both editions.

Never invest in a business you cannot understand, said Warren Buffett. Access to information, knowledge of the company, which you want to invest in, understanding of its business model are key factors in decision-making, also for individual investors. Unfortunately they do not always have the opportunity to learn about the entities in which they invest.

This is why the Capital Market Day was created. Thanks to the initiative, investors in a convenient way - within one day - can take a closer look at three listed companies and know their Boards. In 2012 and 2013, they also they had the opportunity to see corporate headquarters, logistics centers, to see how to create a world-class computer games, as well as learn how to recognize good wine.

Education of the market on of the business and open communication with investors are also beneficial to the companies involved in the CMD. The event itself has also strong media partners, including Gazeta Giełdy Parkiet or the agency ISBnews.

Trans Polonia – nearly PLN 50 mln for further expansion of the biggest tanker truck fleet in Poland

Our relationship begun at a breakthrough moment in the thirteen-year history of Trans Polonia (TPG) - the company has just acquired Orlen Transport, becoming the domestic leader in the logistics shipments of vehicle and aviation fuel, as well as LNG. Energa – communication related to IPO and debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange

In the fourth quarter of 2013 Energa SA carried out one of the largest in recent years - worth PLN 2.4 billion - public offering and was listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Implementation of an extensive communication plan allowed the achievement of viral interest in the offer. The IPO of Energa SA was attended by 72 thousand individual investors, nearly 1/4 of all active investors on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2013.

CD Projekt - from Optimus to CD Projekt

CD Projekt RED entered the Warsaw Stock Exchange as a result of a reverse takeover by already listed Optimus. In practice, therefore, the shareholders of CD Projekt RED took control of Optimus, which at the time the transaction was not operating and did not have a good reputation among investors. The most important challenge InnerValue had to face was to build a positive image of the company on the capital market.
